Back with a vengeance!

First off I would like to apologize for my very long pause between posts. It’s been a crazy few months since I got married.. A million things have happened, and I will explain everything in time. First of all, the wedding was amazing! If you haven’t gotten a chance to look at the video I posted, take a look! It was very short but very sweet and to the point. All of our friends and family were there, and it was an amazing opportunity to show everyone just how special our relationship is.
I lucked out because it was ridiculously bright out, and so me and all of my groomsmen got to wear shades, which hid the fact that my eyes absolutely poured tears of happiness when I first saw Lauren being escorted down the aisle by her father. I’ve never seen anything more beautiful in my life. I will also say, that the reception was pretty damn awesome as well. When you have that many close friends and family together in one place, mixed with a slight amount of alcohol… It leads to an amazing night! Special thanks to our entire wedding party for everything that you did to help us with our special day. I really believe that everything went as well as it possibly could have, and I’m sure everyone will remember it for a long time.
Now on to the real exciting news! We are no longer apartment dwellers! During the time that I’ve been absent from my blog posts, we bought a freaking house! Yep! A real house! And it’s not just a house.. It’s the friggin fortress of solitude! It’s everything I’ve always wanted in a house! I always told lauren, if I were to put myself into lifelong debt to buy a house, it would have to follow a few simple rules. It would have to be outside of the city limits, I’m done with living in the city and its noise and traffic.. But it would also have to be conveniently located close to a grocery store and or convenience store. We got everything that we asked for and so much more! Its exactly one-half mile outside of the city limits, super quiet, less than 2 miles from a great grocery store, and less than 1 minute away from a great kwik trip that has everything we need as far as necessities. Now mind you, the house does not come without its share of problems. We are dealing with these as they come, and let me tell you there are not a small number of them. The previous owners of this house did a lot of work on the place, and made some great improvements. But, it seems that the previous owner was also a complete moron. As many things that he did well, he also left lots of bad s*** for me to deal with. So we are loving what we have, and saving up to fix what we have not. I will get into more details later. I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m sorry for being a super slacker, and from now on I will be doing regular updates to this blog. Please bear with me, it’s going to take a little bit of effort to get back into the swing of things, but now that I have most of the major repairs under control I can finally take a little bit of time and work on updating you on our lives! Until next time… I hope everyone is making it through this crappy freezing cold winter! Take care and I will post again very soon stay warm!
